Dr. Ashim Arora is a Board Certified Physician specializing in Pulmonary Disease, Internal Medicine, Sleep Disorders and Critical Care. After serving as Chief Resident for the University of Illinois at Chicago, he completed his fellowship at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and has been practicing medicine since 1996 the United States.
Dr. Arora currently serves as Director of Critical Care Medicine at Los Robles Medical Center and Medical Director of the Respiratory Department at Simi Valley Adventist Health. A well-respected physician serving the communities of Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks for over 15 years, Dr. Arora has been awarded the prestigious "Physician of the Year" award from Simi Valley Adventist hospital multiple times over the past years.
Heather Hirsh, PA-C, MPAS, is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. Heather has been working alongside Dr. Arora since 2007. She specializes in both internal medicine and pulmonary disease. She obtained her education for Stanford University Medical School graduating from the Physician Assistant Programs in 2007. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree in 2010 from the University of Nebraska.
Heather's past experience includes working as a Respiratory Therapist at several local Ventura hospitals. She also serves as faculty for the Stanford University Physician Assistant Program. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the California Academy of Physicians Assistants.
